I went in to stop for lunch, and saw a man who looked like he was sitting alone and just with a cup of coffee. I didn't know if he was eating there or just trying to sit to stay warm. I asked the waitress to ask him if we could buy him lunch which he declined.  At first I didn't know if I should post this as an act, but I am hoping that our attempt to buy him lunch at least made him happy. I think it's not always the quantity of what was done, but just that something was given.
